Art Club
Hosted at Frescoes, a cosy, independent coffee house in the heart of Bedford’s Mill Street, Frescoes Art Club is suitable for all levels from beginners to professional artists.
The sociable sessions are very relaxed and designed to encourage experimentation, and to cleanse the soul. The perfect inhibition loser for those that want to make art but don’t know where to start.
£25 a session including a glass of wine or drink of your choice. Materials list are provided.

Hosted at Scribble Studio, a creative hub in the centre of Rushden Northants, these one off 3 hour sessions are led Fiona Wilson and suitable for all levels from beginners to professional artists. Sessions are relaxed and experimental and perfect for those who want to loosen up and work expressively.

Working in a mix of mediums and responding to everything from classical piano to Brit Pop to hip hop and contemporary blues, we’ll explore translating sounds to marks and colour and accessing imagination and memory using music.

We'll experiment with paint, pastels and other mediums to capture the energy and movement of water surfaces and breaking waves. We'll explore expressive gestural movement, colour and mixing mediums as well composition and texture.

We’ll explore different ways of using fluid inks, pens and unconventional objects to create exciting, energetic landscapes and figure studies on paper from observation and imagination. We will focus on on mark making, tone and texture.
