Taking inspiration from Maggi Hambling’s and Frank Auerbach’s highly expressive charcoal and painted portraits we’ll work through a series of exercises with a focus on line and mark making before making a final painting, in this led by artist Fiona Wilson.
Sessions are very relaxed and designed to encourage experimentation, combat overthinking and cleanse the soul. Perfect inhibition loser for those that want to make art but don’t know where to start.
£25 including a glass of wine or drink of your choice, paper is supplied and Xanthe puts on a fabulous menu to boot. A suggested materials list will be emailed to you ahead of the session.
