Our first ever Ampthill Art Club opens with a real spirit lifter! Painting to an eclectic mix of tracks crossing different genres we focus on intuitive mark making and translating instrumental layers into a visual language, initially working in mixed media on paper before painting onto fired clay tiles and frames.
Led by artist Fiona Wilson and ceramicist Amanda Silk in Find Ampthill’s lovely upstairs studio, sessions are very relaxed and supportive and designed to encourage experimentation whilst cleansing the soul.
The Art Club is suitable for all levels and is the perfect inhibition loser for those that want to make art but don’t know where to start.
£20 per person including paper and clay. A suggested materials list will be emailed to you ahead of the session and a selection of art materials will be available to buy on the evening.
